Clifford J. Lawrence Middle School

Kim Anestasi has been part of the Lawrence family for 7 years and during that time she has left an imprint on our academic success, school culture, and most importantly, our students.  As Student Council advisor, Ms. Anestasi has shown great leadership in mentoring our students and she ensures that our students get to experience engaging school wide activities throughout the year.  She is responsible for our pep assemblies, school dances, Spirit Week Celebrations, Teacher Appreciation Days, College Awareness Days, and also takes the time to set up March Madness and Super Bowl parties for our staff.  Ms. Anestasi founded and advises the Lawrence Junior High Color Guard team and also assists as an advisor for the Lawrence Drum line. She organizes halftime festivities during basketball season, runs the concession stand with her Student Council kids, and has even stepped in to sing the National Anthem when necessary. She also makes sure that Lawrence students get the opportunity to reach out to their community by organizing clothing, penny, and food drives, providing items that go to needy families in our own school, as well as those in our community.  Ms. Anestasi has also assisted with our Annual Veterans Breakfast each year, where we give back to those who gave so much for our country.  She has given so much to our school, staff, students, and community that it’s almost impossible to find anything at Lawrence that she hasn’t left her imprint on.  Ms. Anestasi is a great example of the Lawrence Junior High community and we are fortunate to have her as a member of our staff.
