Disclaimer: This website offers the ability to change the Lexile Levels of the articles.  It is recommended not to change the Lexile levels, as research tells us students should be presented with the full text.  An abbreviated text is harder to comprehend, especially with our ELL population.

This website has a plethora of current informational text leveled by Lexile band. Many of the articles also have the specific standards it supports (click on the anchor image at the top of the article). Each article has a formative assessment (that can be copied and pasted and EDITED).  You do have to register, but once you register your class your students can access the Lexile Level you have identified (you could also differentiate Lexile Levels and test type questions within the same article).
