Performance Zone 12

  RPDP worked collaboratively with Instructional Design Professional Learning Division (formerly CPD) to create the Literacy Instruction Framework document to addresses the demands of the NVACS and NEPF.  Their goal is hopefully for every elementary school teacher to take the course.  The document was used at the literacy institute this June where a 16 hour PD outlined the expectations for each colored blocks.

The 16 hour training will hopefully be opened up to the rest of the district this year.  From this Literacy Instruction Framework document we created a Literacy Framework Breakdown which incorporates the RPDP/ Instructional Design Professional Learning Division (formerly CPD) content, brain research and best practice reading instruction.
