Mark

Leamy

D'Vorre and Hal Ober Elementary School

Ober Elementary would love to showcase our amazing Music Teacher, Mr. Mark Leamy! To say that Mark is a teacher that goes “over and beyond,” is quite an understatement! Not only does he share his musical expertise with all of our students each day, he holds Honor Choir at least twice weekly before school, films Ober ES TV broadcasts each week, and is the Student Council Advisor! One of the most incredible contributions that Mark brings to Ober ES is the extraordinary musical he produces each Spring with our students! He gives students the opportunity to sing, act, and design costumes, as well as, trains a group of students to run all of the tech equipment for the show, including; lighting, music, microphones, and props! Mark’s passion about music and the arts is felt throughout our entire school community. The love of music he shares with our students is something they will always cherish, even after they’ve left our four walls. Mark Leamy is the definition of “What’s Cool at School!”
